Throat Damper
Located just above the firebox. The most common type in existing homes. We repair and replace stuck, rusted, or broken throat dampers.
Top-Sealing Damper
Installed at the very top of the chimney, operated by a pull chain. Creates a much tighter seal — reducing energy loss and keeping animals out. An excellent upgrade for most fireplaces.
